This
well appointed 5 bedroom cottage with 3,000 sq. ft. of living
space is ideally situated on beautiful Peninsula Lake in a quiet
bay - boat to the other end of the lake with your golf clubs
or your appetite (Deerhurst Resort). The cottage has south eastern
exposure and offers a fabulous view any time of the year, plus
great sun on the dock and various decks. The interior is mostly
carpeted and accented with pine throughout. From the main living
area there is access to a large deck overlooking not only the
lake, but the lower deck and the hot tub area. Off the dining
room is the sun room which provides access to the front deck
or a smaller side deck which is off the kitchen. The kitchen
has knotty pine cupboards, ceramic floors and an island for
extra space. The ceilings are slightly vaulted and 3 of the
bedrooms are on the main floor - as is the laundry. The lower
level has the 54" TV and is the entertainment area, complete
with bar and full sized refrigerator. There is a walk out the
deck area which is very large and has an 8 person hot tub off
to one side. From here you can take a couple of different paths
to the lake - the side yard has a large grassed area which is
ideal for the young ones, and there is a set of large stones
as the stairs to the lake side deck and dock. The water frontage
is 270 feet affording you excellent privacy and there is a small
shallow entry area with a stony bottom and one area is sandy
for about 10 feet out where the depth is then about 5 ft. At
the end of the dock the water depth is about 12 ft. At the other
side of the cottage is the outdoor firepit which offers a good
venue for simply relaxing.
LOCATION: just 2 hours and 15 minutes from Toronto, 15
minutes to Huntsville, 30 minutes to Algonquin Park, close to
world class golfing, great shopping and excellent dining. |
