This lovely, cozy cottage has much charm and warmth to offer - an
ideal setting to truly 'get away'. The lake and surrounding area has an "Algonquin Park" like feel to it. The cottage itself is on 1.5 acres, surrounded by mature trees, with 150 feet of waterfront and provides a spectacular view of Tasso Lake. The cottage sits just a stones throw from the water's edge. The professionally landscaped grounds and steps lead very gradually down to the large platform dock at the waterfront. Here the lake bottom is firm sand for about 6 feet out with no weeds. The water depth at the end of the dock is
about 12 feet deep, and the fishing in Lake Tasso is good. There are three outdoor living areas attached to the cottage; one is a stone terrace for dining "el fresco", a second is a back deck for dining, and the third being a raised deck off of the master bedroom. The pine flooring and harvest table in the Muskoka
room add a wonderful warm ambiance, and the perfect place to
sit with your morning coffee overlooking the lake. The living
room has tongue and groove pine walls, a vaulted ceiling, pine beams and a flagstone wall with a wood stove. The wood stove will warm you on those cooler evenings
while you lay back and curl up to a good book. There is carpeting
throughout the living room and bedrooms which are comfortably furnished and have a very tasteful decor. Pride of ownership is evident throughout, and the peace and tranquility will ease the mind and soothe your soul.
LOCATION: Just 30 minutes north east of Huntsville, Tasso
lake is a long (approx. 7 miles), narrow lake very close to
the western boundary of Algonquin Park and has a similar feel
to it. Fine dinning, evening entertainment, and public championship
golf courses are nearby. Good shopping and entertainment in
nearby Huntsville. Just 30 minutes to Algonquin Park.

beds....wow! We want to live here, but the commute to work is just impossible. The cottage is perfect for our family of four. Beach, swimming, fishing and the whole package are great....very clean...tastefully decorated interior...absolutely lovely cottage with everything one could ever need. Loved the view and the landscaping around the cottage was beautiful! Great fishing and canoeing. Excellent place for children....
