This beautiful and well appointed, all season, 3 bedroom
chalet is truly 'nestled in the trees'. The large deck provides a great
vantage point overlooking Peninsula Lake. The chalet is 1150 sq. ft. in size. Located at the end
of a paved road, it is peaceful and quiet, yet still central
and ideally situated close to everything, no matter what your
interests. Just a 5 minute walk and you're at the deeded
private "Members Only" beach, with 200' of sandy shallow entry
shore, a large grassy play area and picnic tables. Boat launching
and day docking is part of the beach access privilege, providing
you with access to over 40 miles of boating. On the way to
the beach is the Hidden Valley Ski Area and Hidden Valley Resort, offering
year round casual dining and recreational facilities.
Being close to several excellent and challenging golf courses
such as Deerhurst's Highlands and Delta Grandview's Mark O'Meara
is an added bonus.
There has been extensive new landscaping (fall 2009), including a new stone stairway for more comfortable access to the cottage (more photos to come in spring 2010).
The interior of the cottage has been redecorated with new updated furnishings. The cottage has recently been painted inside and out . The open concept main
floor with it's long kitchen bar and wall of windows overlooking
a large deck provides an excellent treetop view and a great
multipurpose space for gathering, entertaining, relaxing,
reading, reflecting or ... whatever......
LOCATION: Just 10 minutes east of Huntsville along
Hwy. # 60, very close to Hidden Valley Ski Hill - drive there
in 3 minutes or walk it in 5 minutes. Just 30 minutes to Algonquin
Park, 20 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park and 15 minutes
to downtown Huntsville.
