This 4 bedroom cottage sits slightly elevated from the shoreline with plenty of mature trees to provide shade and some privacy from the lake. The shoreline has been left mostly natural with access to the water via the built in steps, or from the dock where the water is plenty deep for jumping in. There is plenty of room for all at the lake front with the large dock and waterfront decks to sit back and enjoy the summer fun. There is a large deck across the front of the cottage for that picturesque view and a covered BBQ patio for those days when the weather won't co-operate. Enjoy plenty of outdoor activities with the badminton net, horseshoes and a multitude of motorless water craft for enjoying the lake. You can bring along your own boat, or rent one for the local marina, and take advantage of this 3 lake system that will allow you to explore over 40 miles of boating and visit the town of Huntsville for shopping and dining. The interior of the cottage has vaulted pine ceilings and hardwood flooring throughout the open concept living area with floor to ceiling windows across the front to allow plenty of natural light. The lower level rec room offers room to play for both young and old. A shuffle board table awaits those family games as well as a fold up ping pong table. There is a separate entertainment centre on this level so the kids can watch a movie while the rest of the family enjoys some quiet relaxation either in the main living room or out on the deck overlooking the lake. The bedrooms are open, with closet space, and three of them are on the main floor with one of the bunk bed rooms on the lower level. The master bedroom has ensuite privileges to the newly renovated and wonderfully finished 4 piece bathroom. There is laundry facilities and a water cooler dispenser for your added convenience.
LOCATION: About 2.5hrs north of Toronto. Located on the west end of Lake Vernon and just 15 min's to the town of Huntsville for most all amenities. A chain of 3 lakes for great boating and close to a number of great golf courses including Deerhurst Highlands.
