This quaint 2 bedroom cottage sits perched on the banks of the Muskoka River just below Mary Lake and offers 8km of easy paddling along the river for you to explore. A simple portage opens your options up even further along the river for the more adventurous. A number of steps leads you from the yard down to the river where there is some shallow entrance with soft bottom but you'll find the best swimming from the dock where the water is about 10ft deep of the end. Inside the cottage, you'll find a bright sunroom for your dining pleasure with addition room to just sit back and relax. The kitchen is bright and spacious and adjoins to the living room where there is room for the family to gather. There is additional room in the lower rec room with a combo bunkbed and a single bed. Enjoy the morning sun sitting on the deck off of the living room. The yard area is quite flat so you can enjoy tossing around a frizbee, par-taking in a game of bocce ball or simply sitting out on the new deck, off of the sunroom, relaxing as the summer breeze whispers through the tall towering trees as you overlook the river.
LOCATION: About 2hs north of Toronto. Situated about half way between Bracebridge and Huntsville where you'll find most all amenities. You can stroll into the village of Port Sydney for ice cream and enjoy the great public sand beach area. Many golf courses are nearby.
