4 bedroom, year round cottage (approx. 2,300 sq. feet) on the
Muskoka River, is ideally situated halfway between Bracebridge
and Huntsville. It is bright and spacious and provides room
for everyone. The open concept main floor has pine ceilings
and maple flooring in the living and dining area, a Muskoka
Stone corner fireplace, large windows and French doors leading
onto the expansive deck. Adjacent to the living room is the
screened Muskoka room providing the perfect place for relaxing
in the shade and keeping cool (and bug free!). There are 3 bedrooms
on the main floor, the Master Bedroom has French Doors leading
onto the deck, the lower level has a large rec-room and another
bedroom. The yard is flat and grassed at the back and front,
but the property is elevated from the river and has a well built
staircase leading down to the water. The waterfront is natural
vegetation, and there is a large dock providing access into
the water. This section of the river is quiet and peaceful.
This cottage can be rented together with cottage #149 next door.
LOCATION: a 2 minute drive into Port Sydney, 15 minute
drive north to Huntsville, 20 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial
Park, 15 minute drive south to Bracebridge (Santa's Village),
an hour to Algonquin Park. Close to several golf courses including
North Granite Ridge in Port Sydney Deerhurst, and Club Link's
Mark O'Meara.
