This attractive 4 bedroom older cottage has
all the wonderful appeal of the relaxed family cottage. It
is well situated on beautiful Rebecca Lake and has an ideal
southwest exposure, providing good sun during the day and
the sunsets in the evening. The interior is paneled and carpeted,
with an insert fireplace in the main living area, for those
cooler spring and fall days. There are windows all around
providing
great views and there is a very large screened room at the
side of the cottage, providing lots of additional room to
relax or partake in a game of cards or a board game. There
is lots of seating in the living area with 2 conversational
areas. The cottage is well equipped inside and out – spare
fridge, dishwasher, canoe, rowboat, kayak, windsurfer, so
there is lots to do without going anywhere! One bedroom is
on the main floor and 3 are on the upper level. The exterior
has stone steps leading to the water’s edge where there
is a dock and the water depth at the end of the dock is about
2.5 feet. The bottom is soft sand, and the privacy is excellent.
LOCATION: east along Hwy. # 60 past Huntsville,
then north. About 15 minutes to Huntsville, 20 minutes to
Arrowhead Provincial
Park, 45 minute drive south to Bracebridge (Santa's Village),
45 minutes to Algonquin Park. Close to several golf courses
including Deerhurst, and Club Link's Mark O'Meara.
PREVIOUS RENTERS' COMMENTS:....We had a lovely stay which
the cottage was just perfect for.....The weather
wasn't very nice but fortunately with a DVD player and a fireplace it ended
up being the perfect holiday....we will certainly keep the cottage in mind for future rental
as there was lots of room....The carpeted floors
were a dream for our older dog....
