This post and beam open concept cottage features vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and skylights. It's interior walls are finished with pine and has hickory hardwood flooring throughout. The two fireplaces are craftily finished with Jerusalem tile stone and marble hearths. Leather furniture, stainless steel appliances, tile bathrooms and many other quality features await you're arrival. The large deck area will host many of your family meals and entertaining with a great view down to the lake. After dinner you can sit back and relax on the stone patio as you tell stories around the fire and lay back in the loungers. There is a landscaped walkway down to the waterfront is made up mostly of steps, due to the elevated stature of the cottage, and once there the large dock area will be your focal point for summer fun in the sun. The shoreline has been left in it's natural Muskoka state with a mixture of rock and trees. Some shallow water access is available where the bottom is comprised of soft sand and drops somewhat to about 12ft deep at the end of the dock. Kids will love jumping in off the dock and swimming out to the floating dock with swim ladder for more splashing and playing. All the while, there will still be room for your boat and room to sit back in the muskoka chairs to take in all the cottage life has to offer. Over 40 miles of boating are also yours to explore with plenty of sheltered areas for wake boarding and numerous opportunities for fishing. The wide screen TV's in High Definition and extensive satellite package will keep everyone entertained on those slower days. The lower rec room also has a foozeball table and pool table for your playing pleasure. After a day of activity here at the cottage you can step into the new barrel sauna for a soothing, relaxing, experience. The bedrooms here are bright and spacious with the kids loft area being the perfect place for the younger ones to retire early. Truly a great spot to enjoy.
LOCATION: About 2.5 hrs north of Toronto. Located on the west end of Lake Vernon about 15mins from the Town of huntsville where you'll find most all amenities. There is 40 miles of boating available from here. Great golf is nearby at a number of courses.
