This quaint 5 bedroom cottage is sure to be a favorite amongst those seeking to experience what the traditional cottages of Muskoka used to be. The interior decor is highlighted by cedar walls, wood floors and traditional wood paneling that was so common of the era. There is a deck across the front of the cottage that looks out over the waterfront where the water in this bay is quite shallow with hard packed sand. This protected bay offers calm, quiet, waters for the swimming pleasure of the little ones where they can spend countless hours splashing and playing. The cottage sits just off of Juddhaven Road on a short private lane way that is shared by only two other cottages right here in the end of the bay and it gives the feeling of a family compound from the days of yesteryear. The living room is bright and open while the large kitchen provides ample room for preparing those family meals and a dining room table with additional leaves. The bedrooms are all on the upper floor with windows in each, and ceiling fans to ensure a cool summer breeze at night. These bedrooms are of traditional size compared to the standards of today's "mega" cottages and really portrays a feeling of family life at the cottage. Come and take a step back in time and enjoy how cottage life used to be.
