Ever seen the deep blue waters of Georgian Bay along the famed Archipelago? The Archipelago is a scattering of islands just off the shores of Georgian Bay, south of Parry Sound. A truly amazing view if you can get one! With truly awesome sunsets shining over the distant islands, this property has the view that many properties dream of! Take the walk along the boardwalk through the protected wetland and to the dock where you will find a naturally protected area for your smaller boat. From here you can travel by boat, canoe or kayak for ever..literally! If swimming is your thing then just walk on in off of the rock and swim! There are areas of sand and rock that can be gradual to drop off sections...so please attend the little ones. Remember..lots of rock means less weeds and this property is all rock shoreline! Just a couple of Lily Pads for the frogs to catch bugs on!
Being the last cottage on the road offers plenty of privacy and no vehicle traffic. Add to this the untouched land to the south of the property and you have the makings of a fine vacation. This 1500 sq ft cottage is a true cottage with it’s cathedral ceilings, rich wood, classic wood stove with stone surround, quaint and functional “open” kitchen, and loft area! The loft is a perfect place to read a book or nap under the ceiling fan. Two bedrooms upstairs share a full bathroom and are accompanied by some hand painted furniture. The main floor master has a large ensuite and sliders to the deck. Of course..the western view to boot! The living room is cozy and comfortable with leather furniture and complimentary accessories. Mosey onto the deck for lunch or tanning..or just because. Escape from the heat and hang out in the cool and shady Muskoka room or into the open and untouched lower level! This is a good place to keep your beverages as there is an extra fridge and access to the yard. The dining area is a combo of a dining table and a breakfast bar that accommodates 10 people.
Ok..so there you have it...a wonderful vacation awaits you with an Archipelago view!
LOCATION:About 1.5hrs north of Toronto. Just a few minutes to the little town of Mactier for groceries, LCBO, dining, gas and more.
