This new 5 bedroom cottage sits perched above the shoreline on this crystal clear lake with fantastic views across the water. The large deck across the front provides plenty of space to entertain or just sit back and relax. The set of steps leads you down to the waterfront where the shoreline is natural rock and the property is typical rugged Canadian shield. Enjoy swimming from a shallow entrance beside the dock, or directly from the dock with deep water off the end and a swim ladder to bring you back up onto the dock. With the southern exposure, you can enjoy fun in the sun all day long.
Inside the cottage, you will find everything is impeccable with an open kitchen and elegant laminate flooring found throughout. The great room enjoys floor to ceiling windows for plenty of natural light and views over the lake from couch or in the open loft area above. The upper level has another sitting area along with 3 of the bedrooms and a 4 piece bathroom. Two of the upper bedrooms have private balconies with a fabulous view out over the lake. The master bedroom on the main floor enjoys a walkout to the deck and a private ensuite. Each of the rooms has a ceiling fan to ensure a comfortable sleep during those summer nights. The lower level has a sitting area to watch TV, and another sitting area looking out to the lake (with a walkout). There is also a bedroom. (The lower level is not fully finished yet)
PREVIOUS RENTERS' COMMENTS: July 2010 - From the moment we arrived, the cottage exceeded our expectations! From the interior comforts to the beautiful exterior, we couldn't have asked for anything more! We spent our days by the water, evenings by the fire, and nights tucked away comfortably in our little paradise. We followed everything on the cleaning list, and left the place in tip top shape (everything is spic & span). We hope to add this to our annual traditional trip, and would gladly come back time and time again.
LOCATION: About 2hrs north of Toronto. About half way between the villages of Utterson and
Rosseau. Most all amenities can be found in Bracebridge or Huntsville, both of
which are about 20 minutes away.
