This 5 bedroom cottage will provide wonderful cottage memories with beautiful sunsets, clear water, great swimming and room for the whole family. The dockside gazebo is a great spot to sit and enjoy the view as you watch the kids swim or watch the sun set on another beautiful day. There is a dock for the kids to jump in where the water is about 12ft deep and a shallow sandy area for a more gentle entrance as well. There is a flat yard at the front and side of the cottage for kids to play and the outdoor hot tub with a view over the water is a perfect spot for you to wind down from the days activities. Kids will enjoy the tree house at the back of the cottage and the separate cabin by the water provides a short term escape from the group when you need it. The cabin sits right at the water's edge on a small point and the view is straight down the lake. The main gathering place in the cottage will be the glass Ramada Room with room to eat and entertain while still enjoying the surrounding beauty. The kitchen is open and spacious and the dining room table is adjacent to the kitchen where there is a walkout to the teak patio set and BBQ area. There is great privacy here with plenty of surrounding trees and the driveway is located off of a private cottage lane way so traffic is a non-issue.
LOCATION: About 20 minutes north of Orillia and just 15 minutes from the town of Gravenhurst. Around 1.5hrs north of Toronto. Just 15 min's to Casino Rama. Santa's Village is about 30 min's away.
PREVIOUS RENTERS' COMMENTS:....The view of the lake was lovely. The cleanliness of the lake was superb....We all thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the sunsets, the warp speed hummingbirds as the fled, the loon family crossing the lake, the dives, swims, the well-stocked kitchen which made chow time a breeze, all surrounded by beautiful art and incredible inviting spirit...so comfy and welcoming....We loved the privacy of your cottage. We felt (it was) like being on our own island....We will miss dinners in the gazebo and your sandy beach...
