A wonderful vacation experience awaits you at this Lake Joseph property! With 2000sq ft of living space, 210 ft of shoreline and a perfectly treed yard, this cottage property will satisfy your craving for a true Lake Joe vacation! Just take a walk around the property and you will find stone walkways, flower gardens, towering pines, neat little enclaves of “discovery” zones for kids, quiet natural surroundings and cute little animals! There is a large T-shaped dock which provides lots of docking for a boat. More importantly, it also provides as a break-wall for the sandy bottom play area for the smaller ones which is accessed by one step, off the dock, and into the water. Jumping off the dock is great, as is lounging in the all-day sun! If you need shade, just head on up the walk way and choose a spot under the trees.
There are only 11 cottages on this road so privacy is a given. The cottage greets you with it’s classic pine exterior and a modern, bright and spacious foyer with lots of closet space for sandals and fishing rods! The rec. room has plenty of room for the whole family and provides a great view of the waterfront from the cozy sectional couch. The well appointed furnishings and decorations round out the atmosphere. A sliding patio door leads to the huge main deck and Muskoka Room! Beyond the rec. room is the original cottage. It is VERY WELL presented and combines old cottage charm and character with new, modern and complimentary upgrades. The kitchen is the perfect size for preparing the meals. The good sized dining room is a great place to eat, but how can you resist the appeal of dining on the deck or in the Muskoka Room? Which, of course is of a classic pine construction, large screened wrap around windows, pine furniture and a great view of the waterfront! The entire main living area is awash with all day sunshine...but don’t worry...there is no need for air-conditioning here as the tall pines provide plenty of shade and the breeze will fill the cottage with the sweet smell of Muskoka air! The three bedrooms in the original cottage area are also well kept, well presented and cozy. All have double beds and bright windows and lots of storage space. The main 4pc bathroom is spacious, bright and neutral. Off to the opposite end of the rec. room is the master bedroom. The KING sized bed sits in front of an electric fireplace for those romantic moments. It also has direct access to the Muskoka room and a huge 3pc ensuite! The ensuite is very attractive with modern cabinetry, marble counter top, spacious shower and tile flooring.
All in all, a very attractive property with great vacation potential! With Lake Joseph at your doorstep.....how could it not be?
LOCATION: about 2 hrs north of Toronto and just min's to the small town of MacTier for shopping, dining, gas, LCBO and more. Close to many of the areas top golf courses.
