The charm and character of this 3 bedroom cottage, on this spring fed lake, are sure to appeal. Admire the beautiful sunsets from inside the cottage or on the deck or dock. Step out onto the large wrap around
deck and enjoy the fresh evening air and the call of the loon. Trees provide some shade on the property which slopes gently to the water's edge. The grassed area with some sand is very usable space for outdoor living and family sports, and a firepit is located off to the side. There are rocks along the edge of the shoreline with an entry area to a hard-packed sand bottom shallow swimming area - great place to play with toddlers and small children.
The main floor has a large open living area with tongue & grove pine and picture windows overlooking the lake. A separate sitting room, off to one side, provides some privacy from the goings on in the main living area. The deck, accessed by 3 walkouts from the main floor, is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon relaxing and outdoor meals. There are 2 updated washrooms - a spacious 4-piece on the main floor and a handy 2-piece on the lower level. The finished lower level is naturally bright and comfortable with large windows and a ground level walkout. There is a nice size cozy family room with a gas fireplace to take the edge off those cooler evenings.
Winter vacationers will appreciate the plowed driveway and quick access to the Seguin Snowmobile trail (Top D) (Highland Rovers). There is ice skating, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, snow tubing and dog sled adventures available nearby.

The cottage was very comfortable....Thanksgiving 2010 - We have never rented a cottage before, and we were hesitant doing it online. Very happy we did, and such a lovely cottage - home away from home.
LOCATION: 15 minutes north of Huntsville, 10 minutes
to Arrowhead Provincial Park, 5 minutes to grocery & liquor store. Nearby is Seguin hiking trails, waterfalls and golf courses.
