This lovely
3 bedroom cottage is on a quiet bay with 105 feet of waterfront,
and provides you with lots of sun and a ten mile view! The cottage
is just 20 feet from the water and the property is natural woodlands
and slopes gently to the lake. The waterfront has a rocky shoreline
with a sand and rock bottom so the best swimming is from the dock. The water depth at the end of the
dock is about 4 feet deep. Let time stand still as you relax on the deck that overlooks the waterfront and provides a great view down the lake. Enjoy the sun on the dock from early morning until after 6:00 in the evening. The cottage sits so close to the lake it's almost like the deck sits right over the water! Just great! The kitchen has an eating area or
you can eat in the main dining area overlooking the lake. The
family sunroom is adjacent to the large kitchen with a very cozy atmosphere and a great view out to the water. You can
even sit in front of the acorn woodstove on a cool night and
still view the beauty of the lake. Lake of Bays is a landlocked
clear lake with no reeds, and has a depth up to 250 feet. Lake
trout and small mouth bass abound.
LOCATION: on the south west side of the lake in a very
quiet bay, about 10 minutes north of Baysville, good shopping
and dining are just 20 minutes away in Huntsville and Bracebridge
and Algonquin Park is about an hour away.

was beautiful ... in a pretty, secluded cove, spacious and comfortable
with a lovely view ... Aug 2009 - Enjoyed early morning to early evening on dock each day - great swimming in crystal clear water - great boating on Lake of Bays - very nice cottage - will certainly come back! ... August 2011 - We came back! Enjoyed another week at this cottage!
