This
large 3,000 square, foot 5+ bedroom cottage is on desirable
Lake of
Bays (west shore), close to Huntsville and Baysville. The lot
is level upon approach and bordering the terraced garden
there
is a wide granite walkway leading to the 160 foot waterfront.
Here there is a huge sand beach shored up by large boulders,
where the water at shore is anywhere from 1 - 3 feet deep -
the access to the water is best off the large dock. The
cottage
is about 60 feet from the water's edge where there is an outdoor
firepit - what better place to spend a relaxing evening!
There's
about 160' of shoreline, with both hard and soft sandy bottom.
The cottage is very private, and the neighbours are hardly
visible.
It is centrally air conditioned and the main floor features
the open concept living and dining room, the sunroom with
its
15' x 9' high window, and the kitchen. There is an additional
large screened-in Muskoka room with Rattan furnishings,
adjacent
to the eating area, and off this room there is a deck area
for the kids to play on. Most of the main floor is paneled
in
knotty pine and has cathedral ceilings and pine flooring. The
kitchen is accented in ceramic wall tile and well equipped
and
has breakfast bar and 4 stools. The living area features a
double-mantled granite fire place, floor to ceiling, as
well as a skylight.
There are 2 bathrooms and a separate shower on the main floor
as well as the laundry room. There are 3 bedrooms in the
back
wing on the main floor as well as a bedroom/office off the
great room. The second floor features 2 bedrooms with the
master bedroom having a sitting area, 3 piece ensuite, bay
window, and French
patio doors leading out to a private deck overlooking the lake.
Also on the second floor is a 4 piece bathroom with a 6'
long
and extra deep tub. A separate Bunkie is located beside the
dock, Exposure is EAST with long lake views.
LOCATION: on the west side of the lake, about half way
between Huntsville and Baysville, 20 minutes to world class
golfing, shopping and dining.
