This 4 bedroom cottage sits on a private point of land with great swimming and hard packed sand bottom. The cottage is located at the entrance to the Muskoka River where Lake of Bays leads into the village of Baysville. You get long expansive views down the lake yet you can swim in the protected area just in from the main lake. A unique situation occurs here with a large sand bar extending straight out from the shoreline which keeps any boat traffic well away from the swimming area, and protects the dock area from most of the waves that build up on the main lake. The property is very flat with room to run and play. Inside, the cottage has pine walls and ceilings through the main living area, with a sunken living room and a large muskoka stone fireplace. The kitchen is large and opens to a dining area just adjacent to the main living area. A wonderful screened in porch area provides sheltered seating with a great view down the main part of the lake. Three of the bedrooms are on the main floor with the larger "kids" room on the lower level. This cottage property is a great location to bring the whole family, with a flat level lot, along with a hard packed sand bottom and protected swimming area. There is also room for your boat should you decide to come and explore this historic lake or take the kids for ice cream in Baysville or Dorset.

Lakeside is private, with a large dock and shaded area at the beach. The entrance to the lake has a safe, shallow sandy area for small children, and deep enough water off the dock for diving into the weed-free water. If you want to make great summer memories, this is the place to go!
LOCATION: About 2.5hrs north of Toronto. Just 3 min's to the village of Baysville for restaurants, some groceries, LCBO, gas and more. About 20 minutes from the towns of Huntsville and Bracebridge for most all amenities.
