Just steps from where the dock meets the shore, a large sand bar arcs out into the lake, creating a large, shallow swimming area with a hard packed, sandy bottom. Great for slowly wading in, playing water games or dunking under on a hot day. Meanwhile, at the end of the dock the water is about 6’ deep, perfect for jumping and diving! The southwest exposure provides all day sun or you can sit back under the shade of nearby trees.
The cottage interior features knotty pine walls and ceilings throughout the main living area. The living room, kitchen and the dining room all open on to one another. Relax in the living room, with its Muskoka stone fireplace and large windows looking out at the lake. The recently renovated, sunlit kitchen has all the modern conveniences. In the dining room the table can sit up to 10 people, while sliding glass doors open onto a deck that runs the length of the cottage and overlooks the lawn. On the other side of the cottage a wonderful screened-in porch provides a sheltered spot to escape from the day’s heat, take shelter on a rainy day or to relax with a drink and take in sunsets and long expansive lake views. Three bedrooms are on the main floor, one with an ensuite bathroom. The fourth is on the lower level and has windows facing out to both shores.

Lakeside is private, with a large dock and shaded area at the beach. The entrance to the lake has a safe, shallow sandy area for small children, and deep enough water off the dock for diving into the weed-free water. LOCATION: About 2.5hrs north of Toronto. It is located where the lake starts to narrow leading into the village of Baysville (just 3 min's away) for restaurants, some groceries, LCBO, gas and more.. About 20 minutes from the towns of Huntsville, Bracebridge and Dorset for most all amenities.
