This 4+ bedroom executive waterfront property offers excellent
privacy in a natural setting on a quiet lake, and is just
12 minutes south of Huntsville. It is situated on 7 acres
and has 415 feet of water frontage. The cottage has 4 bedrooms, as well
as a Bunkie. The main floor foyer with cathedral ceilings
and an oak staircase, leads into very spacious living areas.
The pine walls and oak floors add a warm ambiance complimented
by the large windows and a Muskoka Stone fireplace in the
living area. Adjacent to the sunroom is the kitchen which
is more than ample in size and has lots of counter space.
The master bedroom has French doors leading to a private
ensuite
office with sofa, the ensuite has a view
into the woodlands, cathedral pine ceiling, ceiling fan
and
2 skylights. The ensuite bath has a large walk in shower in tumbled marble with waterfall showerhead.
The view from the cottage is serene and peaceful
- the lake in the background, the screened Gazebo set along
the edge of the woodlands. Following the natural shoreline
there is a boardwalk which provides a great spot for the
little
ones to fish from, and there is a wooden ramp from the cottage
to the Gazebo - ideal for wheelchairs. The 'beach house'
sits
beside the waterfront deck and dock and stores all your toys,
there is a boat launch on the property. Adjacent to the
cottage
and along a path is the Bunkie which even has it's own deck.
This has 2 futon beds. The 415 feet of water
front is mostly natural, with a shallow sandy entry area
beside the dock. Bottom is soft sand. Depth of water at
end of dock is about 4 feet. The exposure is south. Cottage
is partially wheelchair accessible
(not bathroom and there are a few
steps from the ramp to the cottage) .
PREVIOUS RENTERS' COMMENTS:.... We enjoyed all the conveniences and efficiencies, fun times at the dock and in the boats. We've enjoyed BBQs, swims, badminton and lazy lounges in quiet places. Each of us, ages 5 months to 70 years, returned home refreshed....It is truly a lovely home in a spectacular setting. We enjoyed all of the amenities....We had a wonderful vacation - you were part of that for sharing this piece of paradise with us....The whole family enjoyed the house, the setting and the lake
LOCATION: about 12 minutes south of Huntsville off Brunel
Rd. Close to shopping, dining, world class golfing, about
1 hour to Algonquin Park, 20 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial
Park.
