This 3 bedroom cottage has an open concept design with vaulted pine ceilings and plenty of natural lighting. The front deck looking out over the lake has a unique feature in that it is a screened in porch yet the screening is removable to allow for a pristine view and that open air feeling. You will enjoy dining out on the large side deck with room for the whole family. From the side deck, steps lead you down to the waterfront area for a family gathering around the fire pit for marshmallows and story telling.
The water is wade-in depth from the shore to the end of the dock and enjoys hard packed sand until about the end of the dock where the water is approximately 3ft deep. Here, the bottom starts to turn soft with some lily pads present at the height of summer. Full-depth swimming can be enjoyed just a few strokes out from the dock where the maximum depth of the lake is 20 feet. Meanwhile, the shallow sand area near the shore is great for small children to splash and play or for timid swimmers who wish too cool off.
Inside, the cottage is very bright and open with a separate den area that doubles as the kids play room, with an entertainment centre and sleeping arrangements. The main bedroom is quite large with plenty of closet space and a private walkout. laminate flooring has been installed in the main room and the master bedroom. Kids will also love the modern bunkie to the side of the driveway with a pullout couch and some room to play. The back yard with it's flowers and garden path provides that perfect spot to relax with a good book in one of the Muskoka chairs as the world passes you by. Come and enjoy a relaxing getaway.
LOCATION: About 2.5hrs north of Toronto. The town of Huntsville is about 15 mins away for most all amenities. Deerhurst and Bigwin Island are both about 20 mins away for fantastic golfing and dining.
