This quaint 1,900 sq. ft. cottage on Kawagama Lake has hardwood floors
on the main level and pine accents throughout, giving it the warm ambiance that is yours to relax in. The European style kitchen
with stainless steel appliances is well equipped and has a small bar counter for a quick snack. The dining area is adjacent to the living room and provides you with a great view of the lake, or dine at the table and chairs out on the large deck overlooking the water. There is a beautifully crafted antique
bath tub in the bathroom on the main floor. The lower level room has a fitness bike (Schwinn Spinning)
as well as the TV room. There is also a screened in porch which makes the ideal place to retreat to in the evening.
There are
two stone bordered terraces alongside the granite steps
which lead to the dock and a quiet spot for true relaxation. The waterfront has a natural shoreline and a small sandy beach area which is shallow at entry. The lake slopes gradually down to about a 15' depth at the end of the dock. In the evening you can enjoy the star-filled sky as you enjoy the crackle of the campfire or just watch the moon's reflection on the water, exposure is south.
LOCATION: about 2.5 hours from the Toronto area, only 2 minutes
from a marina (Mountain Trout Marina), 7 minutes to Dorset, about 45 minutes to Algonquin Park, and 40 minutes to Huntsville, close to world
class golfing, excellent dining and shopping.
