This large two bedroom cottage has very good privacy and a great southern exposure. The spacious deck across the front allows you to take full of advantage of the summer sun and the wonderful view out over the lake. The level lawn off the front of the deck is great for the kids to run and play while the flat sitting area along the shoreline is a fantastic spot to sit back and relax by the water's edge. The covered boat slip is perfect for docking your boat if you decide to bring yours or one rent from the local marina. The water here is quite shallow along the shoreline with entry off the small stones to a soft sand bottom. The best swimming is from the dock where the water is about 7ft deep off the end making it great for the kids to jump and play in the crystal clear waters. Inside the cottage you will find a warm, cottage decor with wood throughout, vaulted pine ceilings, tall living room windows that look out over the lake and a large stone fireplace. The spacious master bedroom has a walkout to the deck and a private ensuite. The lower level, walkout basement, provides a separate quiet area for watching TV or relaxing with a good book on the couch. The cottage, with 500 ft of waterfront, is one of only three on what is basically a small island, in a quiet bay, that is connected by a short roadway to the mainland.
LOCATION:about 2 & 1/2 hours north of Toronto and 15 min's from the town of Huntsville. The village of Dwight is just 5 min's away for restaurants, gas, LCBO, and some groceries. Most all other amenities can be found in Huntsville. Algonquin park is just 20min's away and there are many great golf courses close by including Deerhurst Highlands.
