The cottage sits slightly elevated from the waterfront and the large deck across the front of the cottage gives a great vantage point to look out over the lake, while the mature trees surrounding the cottage provide both privacy and some shade. There are interlocking stone steps that lead you gently down to the waterfront where there is a level area for playing or stretching out to enjoy the summer sun. The large dock has room for your boat if you decide to bring one and plenty of room to sit and relax as you gaze out across the expanse of Lake of Bays. The water here is fairly shallow with hard packed sand bottom and a gradual slope to deeper water. Perfect for the kids who will love jumping into the water of about 5 ft deep at the end of the dock. With the southern exposure there is sun on the dock virtually all day long and the trees along the edge of the level waterfront area provide welcome shade for those looking to stay somewhat out of the sun and still enjoy being right by the water. The bedrooms at the cottage are all on the lower level to help ensure a cool nights sleep in the heat of the summer. The master bedroom has a private walkout and shared ensuite privileges. LOCATION: About 2.5hrs north of Toronto. Just a few short minutes to the village of Dwight for some groceries, restaurant, gas, LCBO and more. Most all amenities can be found in Huntsville about 15 min's away. Close to are golf including Deerhurst Highlands and famous Bigwin Island.
