This 3 bedroom cottage is on a small bay on Clear Lake
and offers lots of activities both indoors and out. The interior
is open concept, has cathedral pine ceilings, and birch and
ceramic tile flooring, and lots of windows! The kitchen has
a new pine table and chairs for 8 people and the additional bar stools at
the counter make for a good
spot
for quick
meals.
There
is
a
walk out to the side deck and the picnic table here is large enough for
everyone. The expansive windows in the living area (which
open)
provide lots of light and a nice view of the treed yard and
lake beyond. There is one bedroom on the main floor and the
other 2 are in the loft with the 'kids' room being open and
at one end. The semi-finished lower level will contain the
pool
table and shuffleboard, and it has a walkout as well. The lot
is elevated with a grassed yard and beyond this, the property
is natural vegetation and a set of steps lead you to the
lakefront.
The lake bottom is firm sand and is about 2.5 feet deep when
out about 16 feet, then it drops off to about 8 feet deep at the end of the dock, providing
good swimming for both shallow and deep water preferences.
Fishing
is fair. The exposure is north west.
LOCATION: about 15 minutes north of Huntsville, 10 minutes
to Arrowhead Provincial Park, close to shopping, major
golf
courses and snowmobiling trail. The Hidden Valley ski area
is just 25 minutes away.
