This lovely 3-bedroom Confederation Log cottage is nestled among tall pines on beautiful Lake Manitouwabing, and has a wonderful cottage ambiance with pine ceilings and walls throughout, and beautiful hardwood flooring. The cottage sits on a small island which is connected to the mainland by a short causeway. The island is shared by only 5 other cottages, and this cottage also has the lot next to it, which accommodates your private boat launch as well as additional parking. The wrap-around deck is a great spot for dining and relaxing with friends and family. The overhang from the cottage roof protects the deck along the front, so you can enjoy the wonderful view out of the elements. A set of stairs leads from the deck to the pathway that takes you down to the waterfront. The shoreline is rocky and weed free, and access into the lake is best from the swim ladder on the dock where the water is about 9 feet deep. There is also a sandy bottom, shallow entrance into the water at the side lot by the private boat launch. The bedrooms are bright and comfortable with plenty of closet space, and the kitchen is well-equipped with stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. And there’s a cozy loft area above the living room where you can curl up with a book or take that well deserved nap. This cottage is sure to please!
