This newly renovated and re-decorated Lake Cecebe cottage is a "gorgeous gem" - set on
a large level lot with a slight slope to the water. The windows across the front of the cottage provide a wonderful southern view of the lake. Some of the natural trees on the wooded lot have been keep intact, thus providing good privacy. This open-concept
cottage design features the impeccable dining and living area across the front
of the cottage with huge vaulted ceilings. The living room has
a gas fireplace and wonderful French doors that lead you out to the wrap around
deck. An antique cedar strip canoe has been converted to a light fixture and hangs from the ceiling.
The new kitchen features beautiful granite countertops. From the dining area, there is an entrance to the screened-in Muskoka Room on
the west side of the cottage. Two of the bedrooms are on the
main floor, along with the 4-piece bathroom which has
a heated ceramic tile floor for that bare foot comfort. The loft is open
to the main floor, with a queen size bed and a double pullout
sofa. The fourth bedroom is located in the newly finished lower level basement along with a 3-piece bathroom. There is a seating area with a new home theatre system and a gas fireplace to provide the perfect setting for watching a movie or catching the big game. The main living area floors are hardwood maple that provide a warm ambiance
even on the cold days of winters, with the bedroom floors and
loft area being carpeted. Both bathrooms have granite countertops.
At the water's edge, you'll find that the shoreline has been left unaltered to reflect the natural beauty of the area. For swimming, the lake bottom is hard sand and small rocks, with deep water access off the large dock which faces south west to enjoy the sun all day long. The dock has plenty of room for sunbathers, docking space for two boats, a set of mooring whips and a swimming ladder. All furnishings
inside and out are new. The property is landscaped with lovely rock lined pathways and wood chips.
LOCATION: the north east end of the lake, about a 10
minute drive west of Burk's Falls which is located on Hwy.
# 11, about 20 minutes north of Huntsville.
