Description:
This lovely
1,400 square foot A-frame cottage has just been renovated. Situated
close to the water, with a desirable south east exposure, it
has numerous windows overlooking the lake providing you with a magnificent
view and the perfect place to start your day, or in the evening
watch the moon's reflection on the lake. It has an open concept
and features hardwood floors and a built-in airtight woodstove
for the cooler fall evenings. Need to unwind? - there is a wood-fired
sauna and a hot tub adjacent to the cottage! At the front of
the cottage there are stone steps leading you to the waterfront
where the dock provides the best water entry. The shoreline
is rocky and the lake has a sandy bottom and gradual drop off
from large rocks that slope into the water. There are 2 bedrooms
upstairs and 1 on the main level. LOCATION: about 30 minutes east of Parry Sound along
Hwy. 518, then north at Orville, about 8 km. along a quiet country
road. Great location for parents of kids at Camp Kodiak or Manitouwabing
Inn, 30 minutes to shopping, dining, golfing, summer festivals.
PREVIOUS RENTER'S COMMENTS: It was beautifully situated
and the appointments were very nice....The open floor plan of
the cabin was wonderful. It was light and open and breezy and
made a big difference...Having the extra deck as part of the
dock was very nice....great for families...the way you have finished you cottage with so much care and detail really makes this place special...the swimming is great and the firepit setting is awesome...the lake is just the right size, not too big and not too small, and your cottage has a great view of it...we have rented many cottages over the years and I have to say that this is my favourite...
