This beautiful
3 bedroom, 1600 square foot cedar cottage has much to offer,
whether you are outdoors or inside. The rooms are spacious,
the main floor is open concept with vaulted ceilings, and
there
is lots of glass providing an excellent view, and the floors
are oak which is complemented by the warmth of the wood
trim.
The living and dining areas overlook the lake and there is
a walk out to the deck, and below this deck there is another
deck
at the walk out lower level. The kitchen has an L shaped counter
for a quick snack, as well as the breakfast nook and lakeview
dining area. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor, ensuite
bathroom and the 4 piece bath. The lower level has one bedroom,
plus two other sleeping rooms,
a 3 piece bath, a large recreation room with a walk out to
the lower deck, a bar and a gas fireplace. The waterfront
has a
small shallow sandy area which is ideal for the younger ones
to splash around in safely, and at the end of the dock the
water
is generally 2.5 - 3 feet deep. The cottage has a north west
exposure providing excellent sunsets views from the waterfront,
and is elevated with wide steps and a path leading to the waterfront,
which is 150 feet wide. There is a lovely quiet back yard

a perfectly tranquil spot for watching the birds come to feed. There
are two golf courses nearby.
LOCATION: about 15 minutes west of South River (on Hwy.
# 11 north of Huntsville) along quiet country roads, on the
north end of the lake, close to shopping, dining and golfing.
PREVIOUS RENTER'S COMMENTS: seclusion, yet convenient
to services, everything was FANTASTIC! ... it truly was a special
and spectacular vacation...we just kept saying - "wow"....what a great lake - so quiet and scenic....nicely decorated... |
