This nicely appointed 1,800 sq. ft. cottage is bright and
spacious and conveys a very warm welcome. The floors are
pine
throughout the main living area and the windows are ample,
providing an excellent view of the woodlands surrounding
the
cottage and the lake itself. The large dining and kitchen
area makes meal preparation a pleasure and the patio door
leads to the deck and BBQ - perfect gathering spot for the
cooks. Three of the bedrooms are on this level and the master
has a walk out patio door to the deck overlooking the lake.
There is a large bookcase holding a few stories for you
to
read while lounging on the dock listening to the silence,
or perhaps you are simply enjoying the sunset! The lower
level
has the 4th bedroom and the rec-room with pool table and
black jack table, and the warmth of pine floors. There is
a patio
door walk out and a pull out sofa, and here also the windows
are large. The lot is elevated and access to the waterfront
(120 foot frontage) is down an easy path. The waterfront
is natural vegetation and the bottom is soft sand, at about
10
feet out the water depth is 3 feet then it drops sharply.
Fishing is good for pickerel and bass and there is a small
sandy beach area for the youngsters. Exposure is southwest. In
the winter, the snowmobile
trail is close by.

11, about 15 minutes east of Magnetewan, 10 minutes to Ahmic Lake Golf Course. Less than 3 hours
from Toronto.
