This 5 bedroom cottage is 15 minutes north of Point Au Baril and sits close to the edge of a deep clean lake that offers great swimming, fantastic fishing and beautiful boating! This property has almost 200 ft of frontage that pans from WNW to ENE and just over 1 acre of land. Lots of trees and plenty of privacy but with the good fortune of having a small store and small marina close by. This lake has tons of undeveloped, Canadian Shield shoreline and lots of bays to explore. Canoe all the way to the Magnetawan Rapids and portage to the next section of the river for additional adventures!
The long driveway brings you to the cottage that boasts 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, 2 wrap-around decks and a cool little observation tower for star gazing (also has it’s own deck)! The main floor of the cottage is very spacious and comfortable with full water views from every room! This open concept main floor is the best area for the family to spend time together! If some need their own space, then they head upstairs to the second level where you have a second “mini suite” with a small living/dining area, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. On the opposite side of the second floor are the 3 other bedrooms with another bathroom. Every bedroom has a brand new double bed and brand new box spring/mattress as well as new dressers! The TOWER is through the door in the upper hall and up 2 small but steep flights of stairs. Here you can look out over the property in 360 degrees! Watch the birds, animals and boats pass by as the cool evening breeze fills the tower! The 30ft X 18ft dock here has a min depth of 9ft and no weeds! Sit on the great sized dock or at the fire-pit for the night-time storytelling sessions. (There is a volleyball court to be installed in the spring!!) You can bring your boat and launch it at the Marina next door. The multilevel decking offers your choice of sun or shade and it also offers an outdoor fridge for the drinks, a washtub to clean the fish you catch and a freezer to put them in. There is lots of extra space to wander around in. You can take a stroll down the lane and along Harris Lake Rd, or find an old logging trail and ride your bikes for miles!
