Welcome to Maple Lake! This small and quiet lake is a family’s perfect escape. It is part of a 3 lake chain (Maple, Duck, Isabella) accessible by canoe/paddle boat/row boat where small boat activities abound within each of the lakes. Each lake has launching facilities.This 3 bedroom, comfortable cottage, is surrounded by natural settings and has a smooth, shallow rock shoreline and S/West exposure. There is a sandy public beach 2 lots south (left from the waterfront) that is easy to walk/paddle or swim to! The cottage lot is a gradual slope to a flat area at the water with a waterside fire pit right on the rock! Bring the chairs down for an evening of star gazing and hotdogs!
Inside, this cottage is very open and spacious. A pine foyer welcomes you and an antique staircase brings you upstairs. The upper main level has the popular open concept and vaulted ceilings with wall to wall windows overlooking the waterfront. Exposed beams, wood fireplace, pine floors and pine walls complete the package! Double sliding doors invite the breeze to fill the cottage and the upper deck sports a great view over the small trees. There is a sizeable dining table and lots of cozy furniture to hang-out on during your downtime! The kitchen is simple but has the main “ingredients” to perform all of your creative culinary inspirations! A second smaller dining area off of the kitchen is perfect for the kids! The large master bedroom is off of the main living area. It is bright and has water views and a 2pc ensuite. 2 bedrooms are on the lower living area and can sleep up to 6 people combined. Beyond the bedrooms is a small tv room for chilling out and watching movies! Again, perfect for the kids/teens! There is access to the HUGE lower deck through the tv room. When the gang comes in from outside, there is a separate shower for rinsing off as well as a full 4pc bathroom in the lower level and a sauna for the that relaxing heat therapy.
LOCATION:About 2.5 hrs north of Toronto. Close to small town shopping, restaurants, and a sandy beach. The town of Parry Sound or the village of Rosseau are both just 20min's away.
