"Cedarwoods" is a charming, cozy, tastefully decorated two bedroom cottage that sits on the shores of beautiful Boshkung Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. It is situated within a private,
6 acre, 600 foot frontage lakefront family estate known as "Tree Tops". Cedarwoods has the 155 feet of water frontage at the southern end of the lot. Woodlands and flowers are all around and the cottage is nestled amongst tall old growth cedars. There's lots of shallow water and a seasonal sandy beach for the younger
children to play safely (the beach becomes visible in mid to late summer as the water level is drawn down for the needs of the Trent-Severn Waterway) The lake is clean, clear and over 200ft deep. The boating
is excellent, the fishing is good, and you have access into 2 other
lakes Little Boshkung and Twelve Mile Lake. The cottage has tasteful, traditional cottage furnishings and, together with the pine walls, they add a wonderful ambiance to this cottage vacation. The separate kids bed/sitting room features a TV/VCR/DVD, sofa and games table, to not only give privacy to the adults, but to give the kids a feeling of their own space. There is
a flagstone patio at the front entrance of the cottage providing a great spot to
eat outdoors and relax in the fresh air. There is also a picnic table,
outdoor furniture and a second BBQ on the waterside lawn and patio. A private concrete boat ramp is available for those who decide to bring their own boat. This is a great getaway for the smaller family looking to enjoy life at the cottage and play by the water's edge.
