This cottage property blends new and old cottage traditions together in one delightful property. The main living area with loft above it has the original log structure from yesteryear while the dining area, upper bedrooms and muskoka room bring a modern touch to the cottage. The property is quite large and very gently slopes across the small cottage roadway to the waterfront area where you will find 2 docks to lay out in the summer sun and enjoy life on the water. Kids will love splashing and playing in the clear water with a hard sand bottom that slopes gradually out to deeper water. With the full south exposure there will be plenty of sunshine to enjoy here at the waterfront. As evening falls you can watch the stars from the fire pit area or relaxing on the deck. The sleeping bunkies here provide a great spot for the kids to "camp out" in the larger building while the smaller one, finished very nicely in pine, allows the late rising couple in the family to begin their day on their own time. The space and living areas here have been set up to allow some separation time when needed including another living area in the lower level with TV and couches for watching a movie or catching the big game. A nice family getaway.
LOCATION: About 2 hrs north of Toronto. Just 10 minutes to Minden for groceries, restaurants, ice cream, LCBO and more. Quality 18 hole golf course just down the road at the end of the lake.
