This modern 5 bedroom cottage is located on the shores of Sturgeon Lake in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes area. Great location for an extended family getaway. There is 130ft of shoreline here to enjoy as the waterfront is very flat and level, with the lawn leading right up to the water's edge. The water is shallow and the bottom has small rocks with some sand, and in certain years may have zebra mussels, hence water shoes are recommended. There is a weed bed out further from the dock and, at times, submerged weeds may be found closer to the shoreline and can become quite thick at times. With storms or a change in wind direction, weeds may be blown ashore or stay near the shoreline. (all quite common in the Kawartha's)There are tall trees along the lakeside to provide some shade or you can lay out on the dock and enjoy the sunshine. You can also take the kayaks out for a paddle and do some exploring around the lake. A large lakeside deck provides a great spot to relax and watch the summer time activities. There is also a screened in area on the deck for your added comfort should the weather become uncooperative. The cottage is air conditioned, and the rec room in the lower level walkout provides a great escape for those who like it a little cooler in the summer. Vaulted ceilings highlight the open concept main floor which features large windows facing out to the lake to provide you with a great view. The dining room has corner windows offering plenty of natural light for your dining experience on the large mahogany table with covered chairs for 10. The open living room is centered around the gas fireplace and is a great spot to gather after dinner.The bedrooms are all spacious and provide plenty of closet space with the master having a large walk-in closet and a private walkout to the deck. 4 bathrooms give you all the privacy you need, three of which have a glassed in, stand alone shower. The main floor bath features a jacuzzi tub as well. The sound system has speakers throughout the cottage, and out on the deck, for your listening pleasure.
LOCATION: 5min drive to Fenelon Falls and about 15 mins to Lindsay.

Hopefully we will return one day.....The cottage was perfect for our needs and was everything that we could have asked for. It was delightful and the setting was quite superb. I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful time we had at your cottage.
