This
lovely 3 bedroom cottage has the conveniences of home yet
is situated on tranquil Gull River, just a 1 km walk to
the village of Coboconk. The interior is open concept with
oak flooring on the main level and large windows overlooking
the river. The deck off the living area is a great place
to relax in the quiet and still of the morning. The kitchen
has an informal eating area and adjacent is a larger dining
table. The 4 piece bathroom on the main level has tub jets
to add to your relaxation. The lower walk out level consists
of the master bedroom suite with a 3 piece ensuite, TV/VCR
is in an alcove of its own, making it convenient for movie
watching during the day. The patio door leads to a new
cedar deck with a clear view of the river. The water is
very clear, with wonderfull shallow sandy entry along the beach area. Deeper water is just a few strides out making it great for swimming and the little ones will love swimming and playing in the sand and shallow water. Or, you can be dropped of up river with your float tube or raft and take a relaxing "lazy river" ride back down to the cottage. The yard is grassed
to the shoreline and the water depth at the end of the
dock is about 4.5 feet, and the bottom is stoney, and some
sand. There is access to 3 lakes, Silver, Shadow and a small lake right in Coboconk that's great for boating with the kids. There is good privacy on one side of the cottage, with very quiet
neighbours on the other.
Location: 40 km north of Lindsay on Hwy 35 to the town of Coboconk about 1.5hrs from Toronto.
