An impressive executive cottage on Georgian Bay that sits high up on the Canadian Shield. You are welcomed by a private drive that opens up to a grand, board and batton cottage with a double entrance to the mud room. The tasteful decor features tile floors, antique hutches, custom cabinetry, hardwood flooring and pine accents throughout. Leather sofa and chairs along with antique pine furniture await you and your guests in the family room.The large master bedroom is almost a cottage unto itself with wonderful views out over the water, a four post bed and a fabulous raised jacuzzi tub. French doors in the main living area lead you out onto the full length deck which is finished with hardwood planks, recessed lighting and traditional Muskoka furnishings. From here you can sit back and enjoy the lofty view across the water and watch beautiful sunsets as the sun sets out over the bay. A stone pathway and wood stairs take you down to the waterfront where there is a large lakeside deck and long dock. Sit back and enjoy the day with the refreshing breeze off the lake. You can jump in for a swim off the dock, or take a short walk from the cottage to the exclusive members beach where the water is shallow with hard packed sand. The picnic tables and play area make this an ideal spot for the family to spend the afternoon. (Please note that due to the open concept of the cottage and numerous staircases throughout, this cottage is not recommended for small children.) There are protective islands around the cottage to protect it from the Sound, so boating is great for the canoist and fishing is excellent. The more adventurous have the option of venturing out into the less protected waters.
LOCATION: About 3hrs north of Toronto and about 15 min's north of the town of Parry Sound for most all amenities. Boat launch and marina nearby for you to explore the beautiful waters of Georgian Bay.
