Upper is 2bedrooms/2 baths. Combined, there are 2 living rooms, 2 eat-in kitchens, fireplace, wood stove, 2 decks and 1 patio!
The property sits at the bottom of the driveway and the early morning sun warms the yard and cottage through the towering trees. The flat lawn offers plenty of shade and room to roam, play, relax etc. Bring the croquet, volley ball or badminton nets for a sporty vacation! Spark a fire in the fire pit and bring over one or all of the picnic tables for a late night roasting of hot dogs and marshmallows.
The walk-out lower level of the cottage is bright, casual and roomy. The tiled floor in the living room is always cool on the feet and the room gives plenty of seating with 3 couches. There is a smaller area for reading or cards/puzzles, etc. Every bedroom is large, spacious and comfortable with new laminate hardwood floors and two of them have wonderful water views! The eat-in kitchen is also very roomy and has everything you need for the time you spend cooking indoors. The bathroom is clean, large and centrally located off of the living room. The treed view across the covered patio is filled with morning light.
The upper level offers a more mature atmosphere as it is finished with oak floors, leather furnishings, cast iron décor, art work and finer accessories. The huge eat-in kitchen offers direct access to the upper deck. The living room is bright, tasteful and cozy with huge windows, exposed beams and a majestic stone fireplace. Both bedrooms are large and complimented with oak flooring. The master bed room has a 3pc en suite with jet-tub and sliders to the upper deck as well! This level also has the formal dining room for entertaining the entire group. As the sun gets hotter during the day you have the choice of basking in it on the back deck or staying cooler on the front deck.
The cool and very blue water beyond the yard is beckoning you down the pathway for a day of splashing and swimming! With the drier weather, the shore becomes a fantastic place to bring the lawn chairs and umbrellas for a day of sun and sand! Pack a lunch and some refreshments.....hang out a while and enjoy the water! For boating fun, there are no less than 4 marinas on Champlain Road to accommodate any sized vessel. From simple dockage to high-end, full service marinas and a couple of water's edge eateries....Penetang Bay offers everything a small lake does, but has the advantage of giving boating access to the rest of Georgian Bay past Midland, Honey Harbour and beyond.
