Welcome to one of the easiest to get to island cottage vacation get-aways! Just a 500 meter boat ride from the public boat launch to the cottage dock (will require your own boat to access the property) and you are set to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. This newly built beautiful post and beam cottage is situated on an acre of land with 250 feet of water frontage. The property is located on a point, allowing for a multitude of spots to enjoy lake views. The cottage, perched higher up from the water front, faces north lending to more shade for those hot days but the sun shines down on the north-west facing dock all day long as it stretches out from the point.

The cottage is bright and spacious and yet compact, all the comforts of home without the fuss. The kitchen, equipped with modern stainless steel appliances and white cabinetry, is balanced by a warm and sun-filled country style eat-in breakfast and dining area. One bedroom is located on the main level tucked into a quiet spot in the back of the cottage and there are two more bedrooms in the loft. The living area is a welcoming gathering spot with comfy couches, wood stove, vaulted ceiling and an abundance of windows. From here there is a walk out to the large wrap-around deck, 12 feet from the ground, the perfect spot to enjoy a spectacular high-rise view across the lake while dining or lounging on the patio furniture.

Head down to the dock and watch the early morning mist rise off the lake as you sip your morning beverage and watch the beautiful sunrise greet your day. Tour around island and lake using a canoe, kayak or SUP that are available for guest use - see if you can spot the beaver dam! Jump off the dock and swim to the rock outcrop that the owners' kids have nicknamed "catfish island" (circumference is 5 feet - depending on water levels). Fishing off of the rock point or out in your boat on the lake is a great way to pass away the serene weekdays. End your day down at the dock to watch stunning sunsets while listening to the mystical call of the loons.  Followed by, roasting marshmellows by the fire pit telling stories about your fun filled day. End the evening back on the dock or on the rock point with some spectactular stargazing.
