Welcome to your luxurious log cabin in the woods. This magnificent Scandinavian scribe log home awaits you and your family to enjoy the cottage life with the flair and exquisite style of an adirondack lodge. Vaulted pine ceilings and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace adorned with beautiful taxidermy mounts, are what really catch your eye when you first enter the main living area.

At the top of the stairs is a sitting area that is the perfect spot to get away from the rest of the crowd and curl up with a good book on the couch with plenty of natural light for reading. Two of the bedrooms and a three-piece bathroom are also on this upper floor. The main floor has the open concept kitchen with granite countertops and room to entertain while cooking. The dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and both have walkouts to the large deck area overlooking the lake. Taking the stairs down to the lower level (notice the spindles for the railings were all collected by hand from beaver huts and cut to fit), you will find three more bedrooms and another living room area which also has a walkout to a patio on the lakeside.

A few simple steps takes you to the waterfront area which is a long stretch of sand beach with shallow sand entry into the water. Kids will love splashing and playing along here while you sit back and just let time pass you by. The water is fairly shallow out past the dock. (some naturally occurring sticks and leaves are present on the bottom about 1/2 way out along the dock) This cottage property is quite remote with thousands of acres of crown land around it dotted with 4 wheeler trails and lots of nature to explore. The garage does have a loft above it with a bathroom which can be available upon request for an additional charge, but the garage itself will not be available.

There are only a few other cottages on this lake (one being the next door neighbour) so while your privacy is assured, there are others who like to share in the peace and tranquility this area has to offer.

Conditions of Rental: 

No pets, no smoking, maximum number of occupants is 14 (with an additional 2 people sleeping in the loft above the garage - extra cost of $425 plus HST per week or part thereof), bring own linens and towels, bring own drinking water, noise restriction after 11 PM.

Check in 4 pm and check out 10 am
