With many creature comforts named The Far Far Away cottage by the owners, enjoy some time disconnecting from your usual reality and truly finding peace in nature. The peaked roof with a wall of windows in the living room will have you feeling like a kid in a tree house again. The three bedrooms are the perfect reset ensuring each day starts fresh. Both bathrooms at the cottage come with a tub for those always after a bubble bath on vacation!
Explore your wild side with 300 feet of waterfront, exceptional privacy and ample water toys. Simmons Lake is private to only the properties on the lake keeping it pristine and its calm waters make it an excellent spot to see wildlife. With a speed limit of 10km/h ensures a quiet relaxing day on the water. With reduced traffic and no Wi-Fi, Far Far Away cottage is an amazing place to stargaze down by the water.
Take a short drive into Magnetawan and check out the local historical museum and log cabin, explore Magnetawan Lions walking trail from the park to the locks or the walking trail across the locks and around the island and don’t miss the large popular farmers market every Saturday from 10am until 1pm in the summer. The villages of McKellar and Burk's Falls are also just a short drive away, offering quaint Main Street shops to browse in and of course the enchanting and unique landmark of Screaming Heads just outside of Burk's Falls. For a larger selection of local markets, shops and dining head into Huntsville only 45 minutes from the property.
