Reviews
We've had the pleasure of staying at The Carrier Cottage in all four seasons. From the heat of the summer months to the coldness of winter, our stays were always cozy and welcoming with views that are second to none.
It's a perfect place to host our family and friends. The cottage has all of the amenities to guarantee a memorable stay, from sizeable bedrooms with comfy beds, to a well-stocked kitchen and a relaxing living area for chilling and watching the sunsets. There are lots of activities to keep busy, swimming, kayaking or just relaxing on the deck or the dock with a drink in hand enjoying the views. When we were there in the winter, we went for nature walks and even tried snowshoeing!
We will definitely go back again and again.-The Grahams
The stay at Carrier Cottage was everything we had hoped for and so much more. It was an easy drive up, and a relief not to have to take the 400! The cottage was so clean and outfitted with everything we needed. From the ever important coffee maker to a kitchen with every utensil you would need (and more!) the views were outstanding. We had the fortunate experience of watching a beautiful lightning show from the main room looking over the water. Right when we walked in, we felt at home. So grateful to be able to spend a few days in this tranquil home. Cannot wait to book again this upcoming summer! -Danielle Cohen
My girlfriend and I spent a weekend at the Carrier Cottage with our friends last summer, and are already planning our next visit in 2023. Our drives from and back to Toronto were much faster and easier than expected, and we were able to pick up our groceries for the weekend and pass through a few lovely towns along the way.
We had an amazing time fishing, swimming, and kayaking through Lake Huron. The property itself is peaceful and private, which allowed us to relax and unplug from our usual city life. The cottage is clean and cozy, and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. Great beds, showers, and kitchen! I would highly recommend it to any couples/families looking for a fun week/weekend away, lake-side! -Varone
