Enjoy peace and tranquility on this off-the-beaten-path mid-sized lake in Muskoka, just 25 minutes outside of Huntsville. The cottage, located at the end of a quiet road on Lake Tasso and on 1.3 acres of land, provides privacy and benefits from the west exposure for maximum sunlight hours and beautiful sunsets. The two-story cottage is perched on a hill with a wrap-around deck and solid stairs with night lighting down to the dock. The interior of the cottage is bright and cozy with plenty of seating in the comfortable living room to enjoy post dinner get-togethers and entertainment with a variety of books, games and puzzles provided. The open concept of the main level flows from the living room to the bright kitchen and into the dining room which is completely surrounded by large windows making for an "outdoor feeling" dining experience. The upper level consists of 4 bedrooms, with the master having a picturesque tree top view through the sliding glass doors leading to its own private deck. The 4-piece bathroom is located on the main level with surprisingly great water pressure for the shower! A flat grassed area located to the side of the cottage is perfect for playing badminton or volleyball during the day, and for late evening story telling or campfire sing-a-longs, there is an outdoor fire pit. Of course, lazy summer days will be best spent down on the large dock with its additional attached floating 8'x8' dock, great for diving and swimming and just plain good fun. The lake is almost always calm making it perfect for kayak or canoe ventures and nearby there is a great fishing hole where small speckled trout and bass can be caught.
