The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction cooktop, convection oven with air fryer, beverage fridge, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, drip coffee machine, and blender. And, there's no need to schlep water as the cottage has a private well with UV filtered water excellent for both drinking and cooking.

The great room features a wood-burning fireplace and dining table that comfortably seats 8. There is a lower family room perfect for separation of kids and adult activities with in-floor radiant heating. It also provides spill over space for sleeping with a comfortable sofa bed for two. And, for even more flex space, there is a loft furnished with a desk high up in the trees to make working from the cottage as enjoyable as possible. The loft can even accommodate sleepers with an inflatable queen mattress.

For colder nights and winter stays, the cottage is also equipped with a forced air furnace for heat. And there really is no need for air conditioning with the enormous windows and high ceilings equipped with fans in every room.

Entertainment options abound with 2 SMART TVs, DVD/VCR players, a fully library of movies on both DVD and VHS, a bluetooth enabled stereo system with CD player, a vast variety of music CDs and a selection of board games and cards. And once you are done looking at the water, go and enjoy it by walking down a woodland switchback path to access 100 feet of steep granite shoreline (no weeds or lily pads here) where you can enjoy a kayak, kevlar canoe, paddle boat, lily pad float, adult lifejackets, and a floating dock furnished with Muskoka chairs. And, there's also a washer and dryer with detergent included should you need to freshen up your activewear.

The cottage is walking distance to the town of Bala, The Kee to Bala, Bala Bay Inn, and the weekly farmers market.
