Welcome to your perfect lakeside retreat on peaceful Peter Lake, just 2.5 hours from Toronto. This updated, 1,200 sq. ft. bungalow, along with a cozy bunkie, offers the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway in nature. With three bedrooms in total, the property comfortably sleeps up to eight guests (maximum six adults). Inside the main cottage, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space with a fully stocked kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a wood-burning fireplace with wood provided. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, the second bedroom includes a double bed and a twin-over-twin bunk, and the separate bunkie offers a double bed and its own three-piece bathroom.

Outdoors, you’ll find 40 feet of pristine, weed-free waterfront with shallow, crystal-clear water that’s perfect for swimming. Peter Lake is non-motorized, making it wonderfully quiet and ideal for fishing and paddling. Guests can enjoy two kayaks, a canoe, paddle boat, floating dock, and a fishing boat, as well as a water mat for lazy days in the sun. The main dock gets full sun until early evening, while the floating dock catches the last rays until sunset. A large, flat yard leads to the water, and a spacious back deck with an outdoor dining table invites long, relaxed meals with family or friends. A firepit with Muskoka chairs is the perfect spot for evenings under the stars.

Inside, the cottage is stocked with games, video games, cards, and even baby supplies like a high chair, baby monitor, and pack & play, making it a great choice for families. All bedrooms, including the bunkie, are equipped with fans. The cottage is pet-friendly, allowing one dog per stay, and there’s parking for up to six cars. While linens and towels are not provided, everything else is in place to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay.
