If you are a fan of pastries be sure to get your hands on some of Birch Farms Butter Tarts! For a local grocery twist, stock up at Farm 2 Door located just off Balm Beach Road. For the nights where the chef puts their feet up, try Perky's Fish and Chips! 15 minutes away by car you can find Midland and Penetanguishene filled with artisan shops and a larger selection of restaurants. Midland is known for their butter tarts, make sure you add one of their many bakeries to your list! Discovery Harbour is an excellent day trip activity, showcasing 19th century warships and schooners.
