The Muskoka room and sliding doors off the kitchen/dining room allow for all for the group even the grillmaster to stay included and provide ease for al fresco dining. The primary suite rivals your last hotel room with a semi-private outdoor seating area off the bedroom, vaulted ceiling and rain shower ensuite. Let your everyday stresses wash away as you start to completely unwind in this space. If you need to bring your work with you, the upper loft is the perfect office to try and tackle your to-do list if you can keep yourself from staring out at the lake through the windows!

For the rest of your group, the lower level features the 3 additional bedrooms, 4 piece bathroom with deep soaker tub and an additional family room with access to the yard. For any little ones in the group or young adults looking for their own bed, one of the bedrooms has 2 comfy beds perfect for them! The lower level family room gives walk out access to the water and large yard perfect for playing.

The town of Haliburton is a short drive away for great shopping and if you bring or rent a boat, boating into town for lunch or dinner is always a treat. Haliburton Highlands has much to offer nature lovers and adventurers, so be sure to make time to check out the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve, Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre and Haliburton Skyline Park. For the avid paddlers, check out the Minden Whitewater Preserve with 100 acres of park to walk near some of Canada's best rapids to play in, there is also 3km of biking trails available in summer. But however you spend your days, head back to the cottage for a BBQ dinner and then relax by the fire pit roasting marshmallows while planning for your next day's adventures!
