Groceries, LCBO/Beer Store, gas station, driving range and restaurants close by in the village of Carnarvon. About a 20 minute drive to Minden or Haliburton for many more amenities and attractions. Haliburton School of the Arts is also about a 20 minute drive away. Very centrally located for day trips to the Muskoka's, Algonquin Park and Peterborough. Blair Hampton golf course in Minden is 20 minutes away and Bigwind Island Golf is 30 minutes.
