The kitchen and dining room flow into one another and open onto the deck making indoor/outdoor dining easy.
The placement of the cottage is perfect, on its own point giving 180 degree views and privacy. The expansive waterfront has a gradual sandy entry if you are not one to jump off the dock. Use the canoe to paddle around the lake and dotted islands!
Furnace Falls can be found 30 minutes away for an excellent short walk to add to your trip! The Kawarthas are home to an eclectic group of towns rich with Canadian history. The quaint towns of Kinmount and Haliburton can be found 25 minutes from the cottage with local artisans and the amazing Highland Cinema- a blast from the past! Bobcaygeon is also nearby with Ontario's largest selection of elegant home décor shops, unique gift shops and local vendors. The town's farmers market take place every Saturday starting at 8am!

LOCATION: 2 hours and 30 minutes northeast of Toronto. 7 minutes to the quaint town of Gooderham for a small selection of groceries and LCBO. Just 25 minutes to the village of Kinmount or 45 minutes to the village of Bobcaygeon for some groceries, restaurant, gas and more.
