Welcome to this spacious, 3300 sq. ft., 5 bedroom family cottage situated on the quiet banks of Commanda Lake. Located in the Almaguin Highlands region of northern Ontario and about 10min. from Restoule Provincial Park, the lake is popular amongst cottage goers and with an abundance of scattered crown land it is not over populated, making it a very peaceful lake for people of all ages to enjoy.

The interior of the cottage is bright, neat and uncluttered with large family rooms on both levels, making it ideal for the kids and adults to spread out and enjoy their own space and entertainment. Both family rooms face out to the lake with large windows and walk outs and easy access to either the upper deck or lakeside lawn. A generous-sized master bedroom and second bedroom are on the main level with the remaining 3 bedrooms on the lower level.

Heading outdoors, the family will have endless choices of great places to spend their hours in the sun. The two tiered deck has a choice of shade or sun and the large open lawn has a sunny section, ideal for frisbee and ball throwing, while closer to the lake there is a lovely shaded area created by beautiful white birch.

The 140 ft. of waterfront consists of natural shoreline with a gradual lake entry of hard packed sand and rocks. The new dock will accommodate a small watercraft and the adults can relax here while the kids splash and play the hours away. Be sure to take the kayaks out for a paddle and for the fish enthusiasts, bring your fishing gear and take the rowboat out and see if you can hook one of the many species the lake is known for. Whether it be Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye or Northern Pike it is almost a sure thing that a catch will be made.

End your days on the deck with a BBQ and favourite beverage, then gather around the lakeside fire pit to roast marshmallows and recap the day’s activities and share stories. Just another day of vacation bliss!
